PThis beautiful eighteenth-century Berrichonne house boasts generous volumes and fine features (local stone walls, imposing beams, etc.), but for a family of 5 (2 parents and 3 young children), it was sorely lacking in practicality and space: the project was to find a solution to enlarge without altering the character of the house.
This was achieved by redistributing the spaces and creating a wood & straw extension with a beautiful terrace, and by converting the adjacent unoccupied premises. The extension is currently being built by a local carpenter, and the rest of the work will follow.
